The Loomis Mill innovatively converts a loading dock into a lobby space where tenants can welcome visitors to their workspaces at the re-purposed industrial building. The roof of the dock is encapsulated with a new metal mesh structure that functions both as facade and terrace. The 3,270 Sq.Ft terrace is fitted with operable shades allowing free use by tenants on a daily basis, or for events as needed.
GOOD FOR EXHIBITIONISTS
The lower level of the building is re-purposed to provide 2,382 Sq.Ft of multi-functional space. A metal mesh staircase transitions from the lobby into the lower level, directly leading to a partitioned lounge. The 1,157 Sq.Ft. lounge area can be fully or partially separable from the rest of the space with curtains and may be reserved for meetings, gatherings, or workshops.
PARTY-READY KITCHEN
The fully equipped kitchen will be open for tenants to use at any time. The kitchen is designed to also function as a bar, with a window facing the seating area, to be utilized for events involving catering. Direct access from the kitchen to the loading dock via the freight elevator will make deliveries to the basement smooth. Ample storage space is designated for temporary furniture, as well as bike parking.
